SATURDAY, MAY 23 from 12-3PM: DOG ADOPTION EVENT at the OLATHE PETSMART at 119th & Strang Line with volunteers from Heart of America Humane Society. We'll have several wonderful dogs there looking for homes! ——————— PEBBLES is a wonderful Pit Bull mix! This pretty brindle girl is ready to be your new best friend. She has great manners, sits nicely, loves treats and takes them gently from your hand, and appears to be house trained. Pebbles is calm and affectionate, but she's also ready for a walk or adventure with her new family. She is good with other dogs. Pebbles is 6 years old-- the perfect age if you're not wanting to deal with all that puppy energy and training. She has a beautiful coat and is in great shape. She weighs 48 lbs. Pebbles was a stray, but someone has clearly cared for her. She will be such a sweet companion for her new family. ADOPTING A DOG Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older). If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match. We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
