It's looking like 2026 is the year of bonded pairs for us! In our years of animal sheltering Maddox and Princess might be the most bonded pair yet. They came to us when circumstances made it impossible for their owner to care for them. They had come to their owner - each as pups. Is the bond so strong because Princess looks to Maddox as her big brother or because Maddox looks to Princess as he guide dog? Maybe it's a bit of both - we'll never really know. Even though they no longer have their family, they still have one another. Princess is a fun loving, six year old gal who stays steadfastly by Maddox's side. But, she's also up for her own longer adventures. When it's time to head out for a walk to the lake or a hike on the trail, Princess is all in! And, this friendly, outgoing gal is happy to make friends along the way. While Princess is out and about, you'll find Maddox stretched out on the cot enjoying a long nap.
