When he first arrived in rescue, his hair situation could best be described as “someone lost a dust mop in a wind tunnel.” Underneath all that fluff chaos, however, was a ridiculously adorable miniature poodle mix with a permanent smile and exactly zero bad days on record. At just 12 pounds, Cedric is compact enough to fit in your lap, your passenger seat, or directly into the center of your business if you happen to stop petting him for more than six seconds. He’s estimated to be around a year old, which means he’s fully committed to living every day like it’s the best day ever invented. Breakfast? Incredible. Going outside? Life-changing. Seeing you walk into the room after taking the trash out? A cinematic reunion worthy of awards season. Sir Cedric the Cheerful appears to believe that every person he meets is a long-lost friend arriving to celebrate him personally. He’s social, sweet, and perpetually in a good mood, which frankly feels suspicious in this economy. While other dogs are out here cultivating mysterious “boundaries” and “trust issues,” Cedric has decided joy is his full-time profession. And yes, this little fluff nugget comes fully prepared for his next chapter. Cedric is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has tested negative on his 4DX test for heartworm and tick disease. Basically, he’s already handled his administrative tasks and is now ready to focus entirely on being adorable.
