Lila was found wandering the streets of Phoenix. Her owners were never found despite our postings and searches. She's a young gal, about 3 years old and very sweet but also very shy. We believe she is a mix of Poodle and Maltese. Lila does not shed and is very affectionate once she gets to know you. She would love to be in a home where someone is home most of the time. We think that's what she is used to. Lila weighs 8.6 lbs. She is being socialized at the rescue as much as we are able. We are short staffed and nog able to get some of the dogs away from the rescue as often as we would like to. Like many rescue dogs, we're not sure how well housetrained Lila is. However, with gentle guidance, consistency, structure, and praise, he should be easy to train. Lila is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will require professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Adoption Fee: $450 This fee includes at least one health exam with our veterinarian while in our care, spay/neuter, all vaccinations (including rabies, as age-appropriate), a pre-adoption professional grooming, and a microchip with lifetime registration at no additional cost. Dogs also leave with a new collar and/or harness, leash, and a gift bag that includes, among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble currently fed at the rescue.
