Jimmy is the kind of dog who wakes up every day excited to see what adventure is next. Walk? Amazing. Backyard playtime? Even better. Learning new tricks for snacks? Absolutely his specialty. This smart boy is eager to learn and already has great leash manners for such a young pup. He’s picking up fetch quickly and loves romping around the yard showing off his puppy enthusiasm. In true Lab fashion, Jimmy is very food motivated, which makes training both fun and effective. He’s crate trained and doing well with his house training, though he’s still polishing up the finer details of puppy life. Jimmy would thrive with a family committed to continuing his training and giving him plenty of exercise, enrichment, and opportunities to keep building his confidence and manners. Jimmy is also a total sweetheart. After playtime, he’s more than happy to soak up all the pets, cuddles, and affection you’re willing to give. He loves people and enjoys being close to his humans. While many Labs are known for loving water, Jimmy would currently prefer to admire it from a respectful distance. Maybe one day he’ll discover the joys of splashing around, but for now he’s perfectly content staying dry. Jimmy gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has experience both living with them and attending doggy daycare. He’d likely love a canine buddy to romp around with.
