About Chase
Chase is a striking Australian Cattle Dog mix who’s been through the wringer and come out resilient. Abandoned near a gas station and left to fend for himself, he spent months surviving on scraps and kindness from strangers, all while nursing a broken femur and pelvis. Even in pain, Chase kept going. He’s healed now, but you’ll notice a quirky limp—one leg healed a little shorter than the other. It hasn’t slowed him down for a second. Surprisingly, despite everything, Chase craves human connection. He’s quick to trust, eager for affection, and wants nothing more than to be close. He’s friendly with other dogs, too. His rough start left him heartworm positive, so he’ll need a safe, calm place to recover—ideally in a foster-to-adopt home. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s survived enough for a lifetime, Chase is ready to settle in and finally be home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
