Joyce B A180542 60 lb. spayed female, approx 1 1/2 years old -This sweet girl can start off timid -I sat on the floor and she immediately army crawled over to me. She was a little unsure but so badly wanting affection and love -After some time she relaxed enough to give me her belly for rubs -She even gave a couple kisses -Curious of toys but not yet playing. It seems that she will be playful once she fully opens up -Ahe enjoys snacks, sits and takes them gently -She will need some time and patience to fully open up -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids *Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt *Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. *Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. *There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. *To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home.
