Lunita is ready to find a home to call her own! Her previous owners describe her as very friendly, active, playful, and affectionate. She loves attention from her people and is always ready for fun, whether that means chasing toys, exploring her surroundings, or curling up nearby for pets and affection. Lunita's cute personality and sweet nature make her easy to fall in love with. She enjoys being involved in whatever her people are doing and would love a home where she can get plenty of playtime and attention. Lunita has never lived with other pets before, so any introductions to resident animals should be done slowly to help her feel comfortable and confident in her new home. Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter. (Cats in foster care are not available for in-person visits.) #2- ADOPT REMOTELY OR PLACE A 24-HOUR HOLD** If you're ready to adopt without meeting the cat first, or you'd like to place a non-refundable $25 hold to reserve a cat for 24 hours, just call or email us: (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org. We are often helping other clients when you call, but we return voicemails and emails within 24 hours. **Holds are not available on Saturdays and during adoption events. -------------------------------------------- All cat adoption fees include; -spay/neuter -rabies vaccine -current distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian) -FeLV/FIV blood test -microchip implanted & registered to the adopter -treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites -veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin -free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians Most pets have also received other medical care while with us.
