Hi! I'm SAMMY! Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a STAFF FAVORITE (I always hear everyone say how much they love me!) I'm about 7 years old, but don't let that fool you! I'm still quite SPUNKY & ACTIVE but I'm also a CHILL guy; really I'm an ALL-AROUND guy! I'm not too big (45 lbs) & I'm long, lean, & fit. I'm EASY to TRAIN. I LOVE LEARNING new skills, and let's be honest, I love being rewarded with yummy TREATS! If there's a treat around, I'm sitting pretty for it! I listen well and know some commands. I'm not rowdy or loud, but I may let you know if you're too slow handing out treats (LOL). And I take treats gently! I'm FRIENDLY, SWEET, LOVABLE! I can meet new people pretty easily but bring treats & it's game on! Younger children may take a minute to get used but I think I can adjust pretty easily especially when I'm out of this shelter! WHAT DO I LIKE TO DO? I love WALKS & being OUTSIDE. I'm an easy, GENTLE WALKER. CAR RIDES are good! I LOVE SNIFFING & PUZZLE games But mostly, I'd be so happy to hang out & chill with you. I lived with a family before & am used to house living. I'm POTTY TRAINED & do well in a CRATE. I was trusted to roam free in my previous home when left alone. And so what about other dogs? I'm not too sure. I've not been around them much, but at the shelter, I really don't pay too much attention to them. Come meet me and let me show you what a GOOD BOY I am!
