Thanks to a wonderful wave of recent adoptions over the last several weeks, we found ourselves with the open kennel space and the perfect opportunity to lend a helping hand to our surrounding shelters in need, which is how this beautiful girl came into our care as a transfer from the Tama County Humane Society. Bella was originally adopted from the Tama shelter as a puppy alongside her sister, but the pair was recently returned when their owners began facing health concerns. Sadly, her bonded sister was adopted, leaving Bella behind and temporarily overlooked—but we know her perfect match is still out there. Despite being a senior, nobody has told Bella her age! She has a wonderful amount of energy, a vibrant zest for life, and loves spending time outdoors. She is a total sweetheart who is simply looking for a fresh start. Because she thrives on companionship and loves being around her people deeply, Bella would do best in a home with another canine friend to keep her company and/or with owners who are home often to share in her affection. Bella is fully up to date on all of her vaccinations and is completely ready to leave her past behind.
