About Nala
Nala is a six-month-old puppy who already tips the scales at 47lbs and is expected to reach around 90lbs when fully grown, thanks to her mix of Pit Bull Terrier and Great Dane genes. She’s got big goofy energy that comes in bursts—one moment she’s romping with her foster siblings, the next she’s curled up for a nap as close to you as possible. Nala honestly thinks she’s a lap dog, unaware of the size she’s destined for. Her playful spirit shines through when she tries everything to win over even the littlest resident dog, lowering herself in play bows and offering gentle kisses. Nala gets along well with other dogs and loves children. She’s house trained and very affectionate—a proper lovebug at heart. Her ideal home is with someone present most of the time who has the patience and interest to continue her training as she grows. Nala’s big personality and urge to be close by make her a wonderful companion, especially for a family who understands the needs and joys of raising a large, lively pup. Give her a chance and she’ll handle the affection. They’re ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
