About Pete

Pete is a playful little guy, found with his sister Luna having fun in the middle of the road near Warrenton, NC. At around 8 weeks old and currently weighing about 6 lbs, he is estimated to grow to around 40-50 lbs. While he resembles a bully breed, his sister has a more hound-like appearance. This sweet boy enjoys short bursts of play followed by cozy naps right next to you. Pete has adapted well to a routine and has been crated for daytime and nighttime sleep with minimal accidents. He’s still learning about potty training but whines when he needs to go out and prefers doing his business outside. Pete gets along fabulously with dogs of all sizes during his time in foster care and could benefit from a slow feeder bowl to help with his fast eating habits. Despite his excitement around food, he shows no signs of aggression. He enjoys car rides, settling down quickly after some initial whining. Currently, he is being trained on basic commands and leash walking. Pete is smart and motivated by treats, making him a promising candidate for a quick learning process! This little guy has received his initial vaccinations, been dewormed, treated for fleas and ticks, and is microchipped. He is ready to find his forever home! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
