About Kiwi
Kiwi is about 3 years old and brings a sweet, affectionate energy wherever she goes. This playful Bull Terrier mix thrives with her peopleātennis balls and cuddle time are highlights of her day. Sheās made a smooth transition to life indoors, mastering the doggie door for potty breaks, steering clear of destructive habits, and embracing a growing collection of soft toys and food puzzles. Sheās easy-going with her treasures and calmly settles in her crate when someoneās home. There are a few quirks to navigate: Kiwi is still learning to signal if she needs to go out when doors are closed, and she can get a bit creative at seeking snacks on kitchen countersāthe vigilance in the kitchen pays off. If left alone, she sometimes tries to break out of her crate. Kiwiās alert barks will keep you posted about comings and goings, almost like having a talking doorbell. Out and about sheās friendly with people and dogs, enjoys car rides, and is happy to explore beaches and trails. She excels when emotions are steady. She does well with a supervisory human around other dogs but can get into scuffles if left unsupervised with them, so sheās best as a single dog or with active management. Kiwi has a raised spine, likely from a past spinal disc infection, so sheās careful about getting off furniture, preferring to slide down thoughtfully. This doesnāt affect her day-to-day mobility. Kiwi would thrive in a home ready for force-free, positive reinforcement training and eager to share time and space with a loyal, playful girl. If youāre looking for a companion with a strong heart and even bigger personality, Kiwiās ready to meet you. Fun fact: Kiwi is an Aries, so expect her to mix a bold spirit with bursts of loving energy. Adoption fee is sponsored. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
