Parker is ready to park her bum in a new home. Her previous owner unfortunately passed so she is looking for a safe landing after losing her best friend. She is friendly, quiet, and a big couch potato. She loves being brushed, and enjoys cuddling on your lap. She is shy to new people and environments so she will need time to open up. She's lived with cats and children but wasn't too fond of them. She may do best as the only cat in the home. Parker is currently being managed for a urinary condition and would likely do best in a quiet, lower stress home. Our adoption team would be happy to talk with you more about her ongoing care needs. Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter.
