Zara and Nova are a sweet bonded pair of young sisters looking for a home where they can stay together. These girls balance each other perfectly and spend their days snuggling, playing, and keeping each other company. While they can be a little nervous meeting new people at first, once they settle in, their loving personalities really shine through. Zara is the more outgoing of the two. She's playful, inquisitive, and always excited to greet you in the morning or welcome visitors into the room. She loves being near her people and, once she knows you, enjoys being held and cuddled. She's also famously easygoing when it comes to nail trims! Zara absolutely adores her sister Nova and can often be found snuggled up beside her. Nova is a bit more reserved and took a little longer to come out of her shell, but she looks to Zara for reassurance and confidence. Once comfortable, Nova seeks out attention for gentle pets and loves cuddling close with her sister. These girls have lived with children and done well in the past. Zara and Nova are searching for a patient home that will give them the time they need to adjust and continue growing into the affectionate companions they are meant to be. Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. This cat has specific litterbox needs. You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter.
