Lumos, known as Lu to her friends, has nailed the art of balancing her love for both adventure and downtime. She’s the type that will happily wander the yard searching for a cool breeze, then sprawl out in the sun or crash upside down on the grass. After a day of play, she switches gears into a next-level cuddle companion, rolling onto your lap or curled up close on the couch. Lu brings plenty of laughter and affection to her people—she’s always ready for a game of tug or a dash around the backyard, and she has a knack for getting attention in gentle, endearing ways. Well-behaved inside, she’s crate trained, house trained, and happy with a chew toy nearby, never crossing into destructive territory. She prefers sticking close to her humans no matter what you’re up to—tucked under your desk, behind you in the garden, or quietly settled at your feet overnight. Lumos loves cats and does great with school-aged kids. She can be social with some dogs but would really shine as the only dog in the household, where she can be the star of the show. Lu carries her Great Pyrenees mix watchfulness proudly—expect a gentle but thorough alert when someone’s at the door. With her thick, plush coat, she’ll thank you for regular brushing to keep her looking her best. She’s both playful and gentle, forming a devoted bond with her people.
