She’s confident, curious, and fully convinced every dog she meets is her new best friend. Her tail doesn’t wag — her entire little body throws a celebration. Melanie is currently studying advanced puppy subjects like crate training, house training, and stealing socks at lightning speed. She’s brave enough to explore anything as long as snacks and emotional support are included. Melanie loves playtime, belly rubs, and dramatically flopping over when she’s sleepy. She’s silly, sweet, and somehow always ends up in the middle of the chaos with the happiest face imaginable. Every day she’s learning good manners while still keeping her goofy puppy energy fully intact. Basically, Melanie is equal parts cuddle bug, comedian, and tiny four-legged hype girl. Add this girl to your home today! Melanie is a 6-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $500 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Melanie is also tested with other dogs and children. She is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. She is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
