Please contact us to learn more!* Meet Ocean! This 35lb compact little nugget of happiness is the perfect addition to just about any home. She’s friendly, affectionate, and has the kind of easygoing personality that makes people fall in love with her instantly. Ocean is thriving in foster care where she lives successfully with other dogs, cats, and a 2-year-old child. She is both potty and kennel trained, making her an easy addition to many households. Like many Staffordshire-type dogs, Ocean absolutely loves to chew and will do best in a home that invests in durable, hard-to-destroy toys and enrichment items to keep her happy and occupied. Her favorite thing in the entire world? Balls. Tennis balls, squeaky balls, rubber balls — if it rolls or bounces, Ocean is all in. While she enjoys playtime and short bursts of fun with canine friends, Ocean has a nice moderate energy level and doesn’t require intense daily exercise. Because she’s so compact and easygoing, she’s perfectly content with short neighborhood walks, tossing around her beloved balls, short play sessions with dog friends, and hanging out with her people. Ocean is the kind of dog that brings joy wherever she goes. She’s happy, social, adaptable, and full of personality without being overwhelming. If you’re looking for a friendly companion who is equal parts cuddly, playful, and easy to live with, Ocean may just be your perfect match. Ocean is a 2-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $350 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Ocean is also tested with other dogs, cats, children, and potty and kennel trained. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
