About Bean
Bean is a bright, affectionate girl who balances her medium energy with a cuddly and playful nature. Sheās housetrained, rides calmly in the car, and picks up new skills quicklyāshe already knows commands like "sit," "down," "wait," "leave it," and comes promptly when called. Games, long walks, and hikes are among her favorite things, and sheās happiest when she can stay active and mentally challenged. Bean gets along well with both dogs and cats, having grown up around them, and sheās generally well-behaved with children, though sheās best suited to homes with dog-savvy kids 13 or older who respect her space as she gains confidence. Shy in new environments and around strangers at first, Bean needs a little time to warm up but soon reveals her loving side. She loves to relax in the sun on a porch or in a yard and thrives on routine, structure, and ongoing positive reinforcement. Training classes will be required to help her continue building leash manners, especially since she can get excited and pull. Occasional anxiety pops up in loud or unfamiliar settings, but Bean has become more relaxed over time. With steady guidance and patience, sheāll be a devoted and fun companion. Beanās foster describes her as motivated to learn, eager to play or cuddle, and reliably good off-leash on trails. She does need reminders not to chase cats or jump up when greeting visitors, but she responds well to clear, gentle guidance. If youāre looking for a loyal dog who loves to both move and snuggle, Bean might just be the perfect fit. This July-born dog is a Cancerāno surprise she's sensitive and loves the comfort of home.
