Chops Aka Big Poppa is a giant puppy with a lot more growing left to do. At just over a year old and around 100 lbs, he’ll likely get even bigger with time. Chops is a Great Dane with a short, harlequin and blue-grey coat. He’s an intelligent, curious dog who might be shy upfront, but opens up quickly and bonds strong with his people. He already knows basic commands, walks well on a leash, and is fully house trained and kennel trained with a routine. Chops does well with other dogs, though he is most comfortable with tolerant females, and he hasn’t been cat-tested. Because of his initial shyness and sheer size, he fits best with sturdy, older children who understand dog boundaries. He enjoys romping outside, playing with toys, and will happily settle in for snuggles once he trusts you. Don’t underestimate how much love and companionship this big-hearted pup can offer.
