Hello my name is Luc, I'm from Minnesota! Luc is a charming & handsome boy!! He does great with other dogs, both large and small. He plays very well with dogs and people & he really enjoys a game of fetch with his tennis balls. He has no idea he is as big as he is, but that makes him all that much sweeter! He isn't crate trained but does just fine left to free roam. He enjoys walking, albeit at a slower pace, he likes to take his time and sniff all the things. Luc is a beautiful standard poodle - all 85 pounds of him - with the kind of presence that turns heads on a walk. And speaking of walks: this boy is an absolute dream on a leash. No pulling, no chaos, just a big, beautiful dog gliding alongside you like he's been doing it his whole life. Honestly, he might be the best leash-walker you've ever had. He seems to be fully housetrained, has not barked a single time, and despite his head comfortably clearing the dining room table, he has done a great job keeping his mouth away from our plates. He's not crate trained, but seems to be doing just fine hanging out and about. He rides in the car like a champ (just be ready to give that 85-pound body a little boost getting in - he'll appreciate the assist). Luc lives with a 25-pound resident dog and has been nothing but polite and easy-going, but will sometimes try and get her to play with him, which she's not into. He's got a playful, prancy side that would do great with a medium or large dog friend to run around with. He'd also do wonderfully as an only dog with an owner who can be his person. According to his last owner, Luc has seasonal allergies and is currently managed on Apoquel which is pretty routine.
