About Lynyrd Skynyrd
Lynyrd Skynyrd is a 7-month-old male Pyrenees/Labrador mix tipping the scale at almost 70 pounds. Despite his size, he’s very much still a puppy, exploring the world with curiosity and plenty of bumble. He’s learning to build confidence and fine-tune his manners, so patience and ongoing training will be important. New commands are a work in progress, but he has an eager attitude and craves both attention and guidance. Lynyrd Skynyrd is sometimes hesitant around other dogs but shows interest in play and might make a good playmate with the right introduction. He’s curious about cats and seems to understand their boundaries, which can make for peaceful coexistence. Small children remain an unknown territory, but due to his youthful energy and size, he may be a bit clumsy around them. People are hands-down his favorite—he leans into affection and loves to snuggle up, unfazed by his big-dog status. With moderate puppy energy, he’ll thrive on daily walks, playful interactions, and mental challenges. He eats well in his crate, is generally quiet when kenneled, but will let you know if something unfamiliar catches his ear. If you’re ready for a goofy, affectionate large-breed puppy who just wants to belong, Lynyrd Skynyrd could be your best investment yet. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
