About Aslan
Meet Aslan! Just like his namesake, the great lion from the beloved book, Aslan is loyal, intelligent, and kind. This handsome 1-year-old Great Pyrenees is every bit as majestic as he looks. Aslan is a gentle giant with a calm, sweet nature. He adores belly rubs, and when you stop by to say hello, his giant tail starts wagging, thumping against the floor like an elephant stomping. It’s hard not to smile when he shows his belly and waves his huge paws, inviting you to give him some affection. You might even find yourself lying next to him! Fully potty trained and equipped with excellent house manners, Aslan doesn’t require a crate. He enjoys relaxing near his family and is steadily adjusting to suburban life, learning that the world is a safe place, though he can still be a bit unsure during walks or around cars. With other dogs, Aslan prefers a slow introduction and some time to acclimate. His easygoing nature makes him perfectly content as your one and only companion. Currently, Aslan is underweight at about 95 pounds, and his foster family is helping him gain the necessary weight, aiming for around 115 pounds at full size. If you’re searching for a loyal and gentle companion with a heart as big as he is, Aslan could be the perfect addition to your family. He’s ready to leave his past behind and find the forever home he deserves. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
