Ivy - Available for Adoption Ivy is a mini Schnauzer, approx 11 lbs and 1.5 years old. Ivy was found as a stray back in April so unfortunately we don't know her past or where she came from . Since we've had her, we've come to know that Ivy is very shy of new environments and needs someone patient that will allow her to adjust. She is a sweet girl and has not been aggressive at all, just scared. Her foster says she is not fully housebroken and still needs some potty training. Ivy is friendly with cats, dogs and all people. She loves cuddling next to you and doesn't bark unless the other dogs do. She does well in crate and is non destructive. Requirements we are looking for: - Another friendly dog that will play with Ivy and help teach her to trust and feel more confident. - A house with a secure yard - A patient family that will allow her time to adjust and come out of her shell. This may take several weeks. -Willing to potty train! She will have messes until she gets into a routine. Ivy is vaccinated and is scheduled to be spayed soon.
