Linda
AvailableLinda is a large German Shepherd Dog currently living in Parrish, FL. She is a six-year-old adult female who is both spayed and house trained. She continues to eat well and adapt, even as she faces early signs of hip dysplasia and awaits further assessment for a small mammary growth.
About Linda
Linda had a rough start—she was rescued from the Redlands in Miami, where many animals are abandoned and left to fend for themselves. She spent time surviving on the streets and eating at cat feeding stations until PLAY! K9 Rescue took her in. Now fostered in the St. Pete area, Linda has quickly shown she's a wonderful, loving dog who thrives as part of the family. She's crate and potty trained, gets along easily with dogs, cats, and kids, and has a gentle, affectionate personality. Linda lives for playtime, especially chasing balls and playfully nudging her foster siblings to join in the fun. During her bath, a small growth was found near her mammary gland, and she is showing early signs of hip dysplasia. The rescue is pursuing CT scans and exploring removal of the growth, but Linda remains full of life and spirit. She’s a true gentle giant—loving, playful, and eager to find stability in a forever home. Fun fact: Linda is a Taurus, known for loyalty and steady affection. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
