About Apollo
Apollo is a 6-year-old Poodle/Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever mix with a golden coat and a seriously fluffy tail. Under all that fluff, heās got a gentle, sensitive temperament and appreciates a calm, steady home where he can settle in at his own pace. No busy households for himāhe craves routine, gentle handling, and people who know trust isnāt instant but is worth the time. He really comes alive on quiet walks when the world is slow and thereās not much action. New experiences or too much excitement can leave Apollo anxious, so he needs someone patient and reassuring. He does well with other dogs if introduced slowlyāhis foster home can vouch for him thereābut he shouldnāt go to a home with any cats given his prey drive. The right person for Apollo will keep things predictable, offer lots of encouragement, and appreciate a dog who will deeply bond once he feels secure. Once he relaxes, heās loyal, sweet, and truly shines. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
