Phoenix is a resilient, loving girl ready for her forever home. She came to us emaciated and flea ridden. Phoenix has gained weight and her skin and hair look much better. She is food motivated and sweet and cuddly. As with young dogs, she will benefit from training. Come meet this sweet little girl who wants nothing but love. Phoenix came to us severely underweight and suffering from flea related skin damage. Since then, she has made wonderful progress; she is gaining weight, eating well, and her skin continues to heal beautifully. What has never needed fixing is her personality. Phoenix is incredibly affectionate and happiest curled up beside you or right on top of you soaking up love and attention. She's the kind of dog who forms a close bond with her people and would thrive in a home where she can be part of the family. Phoenix is 10 months old and weighs 48 pounds. All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. If you are interested in meeting a dog, please stop by the shelter during open hours. Dogs may be in a foster home, therefore scheduling an appointment is recommended.
