Phoenix is ready for her second act. This orange and white American Shorthair spent her early years fending for herself—she was found abandoned and pregnant at a welding warehouse and managed to raise six kittens before anyone could even help her. Since getting into foster care, Phoenix has come out of her shell. She’s gentle, laid-back, and affectionate, always seeking out her people for attention and enjoying whatever love and treats come her way. She’s not much for toys, preferring cuddles and company to entertainment. Phoenix gets along well with other cats and would do well in a quiet, stable home where she can continue to feel safe. She uses her litter box without issue and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV. There’s finally time for Phoenix to be the one getting spoiled, after a lifetime looking out for everyone else.
