About Duke And Max
Duke and Max are a bonded pair who have grown up side by side, leaning on each other through every day and night. These two gentle souls, now facing the heartbreak of losing the only home they've ever known, remain inseparable even as their world shifts around them. With their owners suddenly unable to keep them, Duke and Max face a shelter system pushed to its limits—a reality where even loving, loyal dogs like these are at risk. Duke, a 3-year-old Lab mix, and Max, a 2-year-old Shepherd mix, are both sweet-natured, affectionate, and thrive on close human contact as well as each other's companionship. They have always been a team but, given the urgent circumstances, may need to be separated if it means saving their lives. Both love people and get along well with other dogs and children, making them easy to welcome into a new family setting. They need adoption or foster help now—wait too long, and it could be too late. Every minute counts for these boys. Start your journey together! Apply now.
