Meet Button 🤍 Born January 27th during the ice storm, Button is a 4-month-old survivor with a heart as special as her name. Button is one of nine puppies currently here at Somebody to the Rescue and is getting ready to find her forever family. She earned the name “Button” because of her tiny belly button hernia—a small reminder of how unique she is. The hernia is expected to be repaired at the time of her spay, and right now it doesn’t stop her from doing what puppies do best: loving life. Button has already received her third round of puppy shots and has been dewormed. Her story started before she was even born. Her mom was left outside in dangerous winter conditions and likely would not have survived if Somebody to the Rescue had not been contacted and stepped in. Just two days after being brought to safety, the ice storm arrived—and her mom gave birth to 10 puppies. Button is one of those little miracles.
