About Leah
Leah is the queen of cuddles with a real knack for brightening up the room. Born in foster care after her mom's rescue, she's grown up around people who know how much love and patience can mean for a young dog. Leah wants nothing more than to be scooped up and held—her trademark puppy eyes are pure heart-melters. She’s animated, talkative when she’s in your arms, and quick to remind you she wants to be closer. She romps with her siblings and has plenty of spunk, but physical challenges haven't held her back. Leah was born with hip issues, so her walk is unique. Even so, she's on the go and full of cheer. Pain meds and supplements keep her feeling comfortable, and the rescue team coordinates ongoing consultations with orthopedic specialists to give her the best shot at a healthy, happy future. No matter where life takes her, Leah will need an adopter or foster ready to provide gentle support, companionship, and a lot of affection. The rescue covers her medical care—you just bring the commitment to plenty of snuggles. She has a way of bringing out the best in people: big-hearted, tender, and resilient. Leah is in Bartlett, TN, waiting for the person who gets her. Your new best friend is just one click away.
