Meet #Ratino Another sweet soul from a humane case that thankfully is now safe in our custody and ready for the fresh start he always deserved We aren’t exactly sure what Ratino is mixed with… maybe some Flat-Coated Retriever, maybe a little Chow Chow, maybe even some Shepherd mixed in there somewhere too… but whatever he is, he sure is adorable His fluffy coat, happy smile, and goofy personality make him impossible not to love. Ratino is a young guy, probably around 1–2 years old and about 40 pounds, making him the perfect medium-sized buddy He is FULL of happiness and excitement for life. He gets so excited to see people and just wants to be part of whatever you’re doing. He walks nicely on a leash, listens very well, and for the most part keeps his kennel pretty clean too Like most young dogs, Ratino does have a little bit of that puppy energy still in him, so continued training and structure will help him grow into the amazing companion we know he can be. He’s smart, eager to please, and we truly think he’s going to make someone an incredible best friend. Most importantly… Ratino deserves to know what love feels like after whatever he endured before coming here. Shelter life is loud, stressful, and overwhelming, and we would love nothing more than to see this sweet boy curled up in a home of his own instead of sitting in a kennel waiting for someone to notice him.
