Joel is a sweet, affectionate boy who quickly wins over everyone he meets. Originally adopted from MD SPCA, he is being returned through no fault of his own due to a family allergy. Joel absolutely loves being close to his people-he'll happily climb onto your shoulders, curl up in your arms, or snuggle in bed, and he greets visitors with friendly meows and head rubs. He has lived peacefully with teens, another cat, a dog, and even a free-roaming bunny, showing just how gentle and easygoing he is. Joel is litterbox trained (with a preference for a deep, uncovered box), enjoys wand toys and even playing catch, and is overall a super chill companion who loves sunny naps and watching birds from the window. With his loving personality and adaptable nature, Joel truly is the kind of cat who fits right into just about any home.
