Vito is a large, adult male cat with a striking brown tabby and white coat that's kept short and easy to maintain. At about 5 years and 5 months old, he is neutered, house trained, and currently lives in Baltimore, MD. Vito is FIV positive, so he’ll need an adopter who can provide attentive veterinary care, but he has recovered fully from recent health treatments and is up to date on his vaccinations.

About Vito

Vito is a streetwise, 13-pound tabby with a big personality and a love for comfort. Before rescue, he survived on his wits and, by the looks of him, had a strong interest in culinary pursuits—especially tuna. Despite his tough-guy looks and chunky cheeks, Vito actually has a soft spot for attention, cozy beds, and anyone willing to dole out head scratches or a nice brushing. After being pulled from animal control, Vito got the medical attention he needed: treatment for a mild URI, an eye infection, and some much-needed dental work (he's now down to four teeth but is thriving just fine). This FIV+ cat is healthy, happy, and settled into domestic life, leaving street life behind without a backward glance. Vito does best in a home without dogs or small kids. He’s okay with cats, provided they respect his space. He’ll need an adopter who understands FIV and is committed to regular vet care, but he can live a normal, happy life. If you’re looking for a loveable, resilient tabby ready for indoor luxury, Vito’s your guy. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
