Just like the legendary sandwich he’s named after, Hoagie is absolutely loaded with the good stuff: 100% premium fluff, a hearty helping of love, and a whole lot of wiggle! If you’ve been looking for the perfect combo of sweetness and substance, Hoagie is ready to be ordered straight into your heart. He is a super-fluffy cuddle companion whose top tier “wiggle butt” activates the second he sees you. Extra friendly and full of joy, Hoagie genuinely believes strangers are just best friends he hasn’t met yet, and he wants nothing more than to be everyone’s favorite pup. When it comes to daily adventures, Hoagie has some stellar skills. He is a dream in the car, happily buckling up in the back seat with his car harness and seatbelt to enjoy the ride like a true gentleman. On walks, he does incredibly well on a leash, though much like the rest of us in a bakery, he may occasionally pull if he catches the scent of something delicious! He’s also a total spa-day enthusiast with zero bath-time drama, sitting nicely for grooming and loving to be brushed so much that he practically falls asleep right in your lap. This smart cookie already knows sit, lay down, and off, and he’s currently working on mastering paw and practicing his “settle.” He loves people and other pups so much that he can get a little overexcited when making new friends, but he is eager to please and learning fast. When it’s time for bed, Hoagie sleeps nicely in his crate at night. He may give a brief whine when he first goes in or if he hears you walking by because he just misses his people, but he settles down quickly once he knows you’re nearby. Hoagie currently gets along great with his resident dog sibling, though he wouldn’t mind being an “only child” either since he’s a bit of a ham who loves being the center of attention.
