About Duke
Duke is about 4–5 years old and carries himself like the big boy he is—currently around 70 pounds, though he was just 55 pounds when he arrived. He could gain a few more pounds and would likely feel even better. His coloring is a mix of red, chestnut and cream, and his short coat is easy to care for. There’s a real goofy streak to Duke; he’s happiest outside, nose to the ground, soaking up the scents. Duke does well with other dogs, but he’s not a fit for homes with cats or chickens. He’s social and enjoys the company of people and pups alike. House trained and up to date on vaccinations, Duke is ready for someone who appreciates a sweet, active companion.
