Duke is about 4–5 years old and carries himself like the big boy he is—currently around 70 pounds, though he was just 55 pounds when he arrived. He could gain a few more pounds and would likely feel even better. His coloring is a mix of red, chestnut and cream, and his short coat is easy to care for. There’s a real goofy streak to Duke; he’s happiest outside, nose to the ground, soaking up the scents. Duke does well with other dogs, but he’s not a fit for homes with cats or chickens.
