Meet one of the Summer Beverage pups! Eight puppies were found loose on a country road at the end of April. They appeared to be about 5-6 weeks old at the time. There were 5 larger pups and 3 very small pups. Sunny D was one of the small puppies, weighing in at about 3 lbs when she was rescued. We do not know breed mix at all, but based on what she looks like now and her estimated adult size, we think she may be a Boston Terrier mix. That could be completely wrong -- there was no sign of any adult dogs where the puppies were found so we just do not know. Our vet estimates that she will be under 25 lbs when full grown. At a little over 8 weeks old, Sunny D weighed 5.5 lbs. The puppies are all very happy in nature and will make a fun addition to whatever homes they join. We can't call them house trained, but they do have a head start on training as they use a doggy door regularly and only go inside if they can't get outside.
