About Athena
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Athena is a tiny whirlwind of affection and sheer joy! She’s a six-year-old French Bulldog/Boston Terrier mix with a personality that shines as soon as you walk through the door. Every visitor, neighbor, or stranger gets greeted with her signature exuberance—she is truly happy, goofy, and incredibly friendly with people from all walks of life. However, Athena is happiest as the only dog in the household, with one very special exception: her best pal Asher, an eight-year-old male Chihuahua she came in with. Though the two can be adopted separately, they would also love a home together. Athena isn’t open to new canine friends beyond Asher, so her ideal family will keep her as the only dog. This means you’ll need to avoid bringing other dogs into the home, taking her to dog parks, or visiting friends and family with dogs, and always keep her on leash in public settings. While that may sound restrictive, Athena has so much love and laughter to give, you’ll never feel like you’re missing out! Athena comes with a lot of fun, endless kisses, and plenty of joyful moments—she’s a lovable companion who will light up your life every day. And as a born Pisces (born 2/23/2020), this sweet girl channels all the loving and loyal vibes of her star sign! Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
