Meet Lady! This lovely 7-year-old tortoiseshell girl is a quiet beauty with a tender heart. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with patience and a gentle approach, she begins to show her true, affectionate nature. Lady feels most comfortable in calm, predictable spaces where she can take things at her own pace. Once she warms up, she’ll reward you with soft purrs, cozy companionship, and those special, quiet moments that make earning a shy cat’s love so meaningful. Lady isn’t one for loud environments or too much hustle and bustle, but in the right home with a patient person or a peaceful routine, she’ll truly blossom. Watching her grow more confident day by day is a rewarding experience all its own. Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
