Lenny is still a growing puppy and we do expect him to get larger. Lenny arrived in rescue after being from an accidental litter. He has been thriving in foster care, but is ready to find a family that is up for all of the puppy challenges, such as leash training, house training, continued socialization and learning what to chew and not chew. His foster mom says: If you’re looking for a puppy with equal parts personality, playfulness, and snuggles, Lenny is ready to steal your heart. This adorable Shih Tzu mix loves to romp around with his puppy pals and isn’t afraid to get rowdy during playtime, so he’d do best with dogs that can match his energy rather than older, laid-back pups. Lenny is still learning the ropes of housetraining and will need regular trips outside along with patience and routine to help him succeed. He’s a very affectionate little guy who loves attention and isn’t shy about using his voice to ask for it! Because he tends to stay close — very close — to his humans while moving around, a home without seniors or toddlers would be ideal. Lenny is the perfect match for someone who wants a lively, cuddly companion and is ready for all the fun (and chaos) that comes with puppyhood.
