Birch is still a growing puppy and we do expect him to get larger. Basil arrived in rescue after being from an accidental litter. He has been thriving in foster care, but is ready to find a family that is up for all of the puppy challenges, such as leash training, house training, continued socialization and learning what to chew and not chew. His foster mom says: Basil is a tiny bundle of personality wrapped up in soft fur and puppy charm. This Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix has that classic terrier spark — confident, spirited, and always ready to see what’s going on around him. He enjoys playing, staying busy, and keeping close to his people, but he’s equally happy curling up for a cozy nap after a busy day. Basil is still figuring out housetraining, leash walking, and all the important puppy life skills, so he’ll thrive with a family committed to helping him learn and build confidence. Sweet, snuggly, and full of character, Basil is the kind of puppy that quickly becomes the center of attention wherever he goes.
