Rookie is a 4 1/2-month-old neutered male kitten and, despite the name, he is already performing at an elite level in all major kitten categories: being adorable, being friendly, being hilarious, and making people immediately say, “Oh no, I love him.” This sweet little guy is super fun and full of young kitten charm. He’s playful, curious, social, and very ready to find a family who appreciates a handsome orange-and-white gentleman with big dreams and absolutely no plans to pay rent. As the proud son of Snack Shack Sharon, Rookie has inherited a strong legacy of snack-adjacent confidence and general silliness. He may be new to the game, but he’s already a fan favorite. Rookie is ready to leave the minor leagues and head straight into a forever home where he can be loved, entertained, and told daily that he is, in fact, a very good boy. ADOPTION INFORMATION HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: - Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. - Fill out an online application to adopt by clicking here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HORI/Cat - We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. - We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
