Cornbread (A141444) is a 7-month-old Pitbull x GSD x Healer mix who weighed 56.6 pounds on intake! 05/19/26 Cornbread, previously known as Savanna, is back at the shelter and looking for her new home! She is a super-smart girl looking for continued guidance and love! She has attended a few puppy obedience classes and knows quite a few basic commands and is eager to show them off for treats! Cornbread was also said to be kennel-trained, housebroken, and to ride well in a vehicle. Cornbread was known to jump on people and doesn’t quite understand her size, especially with kiddos. If you have smaller kids in the home, this is something important to keep in mind. Cornbread was also noted to play rough and would do best in a home without small animals (dogs or cats) do her playstyle. She was described as a very loving dog and would love to find her new home! Savanna was surrendered to the shelter and is looking for her new family to grow old with! She is a super smart pup who is eager to learn and treat-motivated! Her surrendering owner noted that she is already kennel-trained and knows the command sit! She is still working on potty training, but with some consistency, she is sure she can master it in no time! Puppies are a lot of work and a big responsibility but worth the reward. Savanna does not have experience with children but was said to do well with strangers, adults, and even other animals. Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions to help set her up for success. In typical puppy fashion, Savanna is teething and it is important that she is provided with appropriate chews so she does not chew on you!
