About Clarabelle
Clarabelle is a cheerful, upbeat senior who has the spirit of a much younger dog. She keeps people guessing her age—most can’t believe she’s 13. Clarabelle still enjoys brisk walks and has the energy to back it up, yet she’s just as delighted to curl up quietly on the couch or nap in her crate for hours. She’s thoroughly house trained, never has accidents, and adapts well to whatever routine you set, including crate time if you’d like. Clarabelle’s social skills are solid—she gets along well with another senior dog in her foster home and two cats, one of whom will even join them for walks. She sometimes gives chase to the cats in good fun but is not a threat. Clarabelle is gentle and calm around children, and she’s manageable enough for kids to walk without trouble. She stays polite when meeting new dogs on leash, especially those with a calm temperament, regardless of their size or gender. Her health and athleticism stand out; she has solid joints, a happy tummy, and a soft, beautiful coat. Between her easy companionship and her flexible nature, she’s equally content adventuring or snuggling. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
