Her foster mama beams with pride when passerby express disbelief that she is 13. I thought she was 3! Not a day over 7! She looks like a puppy! Clarabelle is the best of all worlds. She's a very healthy dog with lots of pep in her step for walks, but an amazing napper as well. She is quiet in her crate or on the couch, for hours on end. She's beautifully house trained with no accidents, ever. She coexists nicely in a home with another senior dog, and two cats who are not threatened by her (one joins her on dog walks)! Clarabelle has spent time in temp foster with two boys ages 10 and 12 and she's easy enough for a kid to walk! She has a big smile on her face around children. :) - house trained and crate trained (crate isn't necessary but Clarabelle will do whatever you prefer) - easy on leash and a peppy little walker - barks a little when she sees other dogs but is fine once she meets them (prefers calm dogs of both genders, any size); lives in foster with a same size female senior - a little bit cat chasey but not a threat - quiet and sweet and obedient - healthy joints and tummy and beautiful soft coat - excellent couch companion - perfect compact small/medium size
