About Bindi

Date Written: 5/13/26 Age: 1.5 years, born September 2024 Weight: 50 lbs. Breed: German Shepherd/ Beagle (DNA tested) Meet Bindi! Bindi was adopted from the Richmond SPCA by a couple who had three cats - they have taken amazing care of her, but she chases their cats and needs to find a new home. Which is why she came to B&B! Bindi is a female german shepherd/beagle mix - she has been DNA tested, and is 56% German Shepherd and 31% beagle. This sweet girl has the most beautiful brindle. She has had some obedience training and really loves it when you use training treats. She absolutely loves balls and really hard chew toys! Once she is comfortable, she loves alllll her people and just wants all the attention and pets. She may need a little extra TLC to help adjust to a new home environment. She loves to eat and is so so smart - and super attentive to her owners. She doesnโ€™t get along with cats, but gets along great with other dogs. This sweet girl is leash trained, crate trained, and house trained! A little weird quirk? Sometimes she just wants you to open to the door a couple times before she decides to make her outside debut. Sometimes people walking up to her fast can make her nervous, but with nice, calm, introductions she is so happy! She is just like Happy from Inside Out- she finds it fun to smile all the time! She is an athletic girl who loves chasing balls, playing fetch, and long walks. Her superpower? Super speed zoomies across the backyard! Bindi loves her people and committed to giving them licks, snuggles, and going on all the adventures with you! She is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is spayed, up to date on core vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of core vaccinations, microchip, along with the cost of her care while in foster. Bindi is negative for heartworms. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dogโ€™s age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. To apply to adopt Bindi, visit www.beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt. Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption. Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
