*COURTESY POST* Canelo is a very sweet boy who could really use a stable, loving home 💙 He lived outside for the first 7 years of his life, and then spent 6+ months in the shelter. He got adopted in December, and then after getting attacked by an off-leash dog his owner decided they couldn't keep him and he was facing euthanasia. We adopted for now to save him and he is the best boy! He is sweet, cuddly, and well mannered. He loves to play catch, and he loves belly rubs during the day. He is a true joy to have around. He had big feelings about other dogs but they have gone from fear to excitement since we have been fostering him. We have been working on dog neutrality with him every day and we are SO proud of all the progress he's made! Canelo knows sit, down, stay, no, "look", up, and leave it. He is crate trained and can be left alone. He never destroys anything in the house, though like any pittie he loves a good chew toy! He's potty trained as well.
