About Penny

Penny is a heckin QUEEN. She came to us from a complicated 17 cat neglect situation, and gives not a single you-know-what. This girl just wants a big window, a sunbeam, some daily zoomies chasing a laser pointer, and she's happy. She looks elegant and regal, and to be honest is a bit aloof. She'll happily hang out in a room with you, but understandably, isn't so sure about being pet yet. Penny would do best in a quiet, sunny home, as an only cat (or with equally aloof/independent kitty roommates). -- Every PALS cat and kitten has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and is up-to-date on vaccinations. A note about kittens: if you are adopting a kitten, they may need to complete their FVRCP (distemper) series and may not be old enough for their rabies vaccination. These essential vaccines will be the responsibility of their new owner. Detailed vet records and a calendar of vaccination due dates will be provided. The PALS Adoption Center, located inside PetSmart at 10 Traders Way in Salem, MA (just off Highland Ave/Rte 107) BY APPOINTMENT ONLY TO APPROVED ADOPTERS. Adoption applications can be found online at www.palscats.org. A completed application is not necessarily an approved application. We do ask for written landlord approval if you rent, or proof of home ownership (water bill, etc.) We will also check your vet references. You will be contacted by our adoption staff once your application has been approved. Please note it can take up to 48 hours. Our online sites are updated regularly, but we can not guarantee that a cat you see here is still available. Please email if you have any questions regarding the adoption process or our available cats and kittens. PALS is an all-volunteer, no-kill rescue group. Each and every cat and kitten has been rescued locally.
