Meet Nico! This scruffy Border Terrier mix is about a year old and weighs in at 26 pounds. Nico’s got the kind of face that makes you stop—quirky ears, one always perked up and the other flopping down, especially when he’s excited (which happens a lot). He landed in the shelter through no fault of his own, together with his brother, but he’s managed to charm just about everyone since arriving. Nico is gentle, walks nicely on leash, and always wants to be close to his people. He’s got an easy sweetness and a soulful side, both obvious after just a little time with him.
