About Sandy

Sandy is a 1-year-old Border Terrier/Chihuahua mix who tips the scales at just 11 pounds. She thrives on affection and likes to stay close to her people — never one to stray far from where the action is. Sandy is happiest cuddled up by your side or joining you on an adventure, and she lights up around kind kids. Meeting new people and experiencing new places like pet stores is right up her alley. She gets along with other dogs after a little warm-up time, but she isn’t a fan of feline friends. Sandy sleeps well in a crate by your bed and walks easily on leash. She has mastered 'sit' and, being food motivated, is eager to learn even more. Potty training is still in progress, but Sandy will use a potty pad if needed. Toss a toy and she’s quick to play, always up for fun before winding down for more snuggles. Give her a home with lots of love and you’ll see just how much this little companion has to give.
