About Loki

Loki is such a personable boy! He adores being active and sociable, especially with anyone holding a feather wand or petting him. When he doesn't have a person to give him attention, he likes to look around for anything to pique his interest, whether that is dust bunnies or bird watching or playing with other cats, or, of course, napping. He is such a fun boy to have at his foster home. He is currently really good friends with his sidekick Darla, but he can be adopted out individually to become a companion to any other kitty. His foster mom does recommend he go to a home with other cats, as he came from a hoarding situation where his entire life was about coexisting well with other feline companions. Loki did wonderfully at the last adoption event, as he tried to make eye contact with everyone possible to come and pet him. Once the cage was opened, it was clear he just wanted to come out and make friends. At his foster home he is relegated to the finished basement, and he really wants to explore the entire house, but the resident cats give that a hard no (they do that to all the fosters!) Loki's foster mom tells him all the time to be patient, and that the right home for him will open up with a feline friend. Loki doesn't mind the other foster cats, and he is quite confident and brave in approaching any new kitty. He does well with the resident dog, too, but introductions with a new dog should be done with consideration for his tolerance. Cat companionship is what this guy wants. Older kids who have experience with cats would be okay for Loki, too, with the understanding is that he has a lot of energy and loves to play and can sometimes be aloof (which makes him adorable). Loki is currently living in a foster home in New Cumberland. Loki's adoption donation is $115 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing (negative for both), microchip, and neuter.
